Assembly Line

Responsible for manually pushing the units down the line as they attach uprights and box using a screw gun.  Safe and efficient operation of pallet jack and/or hand truck.

  • Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials 

  • Counts and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet

Education and Experience

Forklift Driver

Responsible for ensuring that freight is loaded and unloaded within warehouse in a safe and efficient manner utilizing forklift, pallet jack and/or hand truck.

Essential Job Functions

  • Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials to be moved 

  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, and shelves by hand and/or forklift 

  • Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit 

  • Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet 

  • Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials 

  • Scanning Freight 

 

Education and Experience

  • MUST HAVE FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE – Will be tested

Fulfillment Specialists

Job Summary

A Fulfillment Specialist performs various manual labor tasks including, but not limited to box making, labeling, picking/packing orders, dunnage and taping, shipping and/or receiving, palletizing product, manually load trailers and replenishing. The Fulfillment Specialist is responsible to maintain accuracy, quality, and meet or exceed productivity quotas while performing these tasks.

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Work in a team environment

  • Accurately pick and pack inventory for fulfillment and document inventory movement

  • Meet or exceed picking, packing and shipping requirements

  • Stock shelves, cycle count and re-arrange inventory as required

  • Use computer terminal for required tasks

  • Maintain specific productivity levels according to department expectations

  • Apply labels, tags and packing slips for inventory shipments

  • Recommend changes or methods to increase efficiency and reduce costs

  • Be available for cross-training and work in all fulfillment departments, and other company departments as necessary

  • Communicate and develop relationships with ALL departments

  • Prepare and/or maintain required logs, reports and records as assigned by management

  • Report operational and/or personnel difficulties to supervisor

  • Communicate and observe all company rules including housekeeping and safety requirements

  • Be available for overtime hours, off-schedule hours, weekend hours, and holiday hours as necessary.

  • Cycle Counting

  • Basic computer usage required.

  • Communicate and observe all company rules; adhere to and promote best practices in accordance with company Health, Safety and Quality regulations

  • Be flexible with start and end time of shifts; be available for overtime or weekend hours when required.

  • Must be capable of lifting or moving objects up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.

Expediter

Monitor purchase orders given to vendors or internal production processes to ensure the materials are delivered in the specific amount of time to ensure on-time deliver to internal and external customers.  The Expediter plays a vital role in making sure operations has the materials needed to run and service customers.  This opportunity is Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

 

Job Duties:

  • Maintain a record of the outstanding purchase orders

  • Document on the purchase order all information received, including quantity and quality of materials

  • Interact with Vendor via telephone calls, by email, and in person

  • Update records on material logs and the Material Requirements Planning System

  • Relay information regarding delays in shipment which the Expediter will work to resolve

  • Interact with the Buyers/Planners/CSRs to develop contingencies to support the customer

  • Continual contact with the shipping/transportation company to prevent delays in shipments

Production Assistant

We are seeking an experienced, motivated PRODUCTION ASSISTANT in the York, PA area.

 

You will play a critical role in supporting a broad reach of administrative functions that support plant operations.  This role contributes to the success of the company by handling a wide range of supportive tasks with minimal supervision.

 

Job Functions:

  • Responsible for job scheduling and release per the master production schedule

  • Run back-order review report

  • Submit material demands to Production Manager

  • Assist with purchase orders for raw materials and other shop supplies

  • Assist with receiving finished product and verify cost

  • Assemble job packets

  • Assist with administrative tasks and projects as needed

  • Assist in quotes for new orders and repeat orders

  • Assist Operations Manager with performance measurement and reporting

  • Assist with production if needed

 

Requirements:

  • 3 + years of experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Prior ERP knowledge needed

  • Knowledge of labels and applications

  • Technical aptitude a plus

  • Solid customer service skills

  • Proactive, self-motivated

  • Knowledge of costing

  • Ability to work well with changing priorities

  • Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure
