Maintenance Mechanic First and Second Shift

This maintenance mechanic position is key to our continued success and growth. This position Installs, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe and electrical systems. Diagnose problems, use schematics, and repair equipment. Perform preventive maintenance. Safely operate machinery and work with production to ensure machine remains in service. Ability to use tools to fix, or fabricate parts. Knowledge of PLC’s and computers is critical. Knowledge of welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics is preferred.



We are looking for someone with a High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least six (6) months of experience. There is some weekend work either scheduled or on call.

Contract Grow Out Manager

Our Contract Growout Manager will be responsible for ensuring that growers adhere to the standards set by JJS including maintenance of farm facilities, bird care, general farm operations, and safety.  Other responsibilities include responding to emergencies, production planning, and training of personnel. You will be the main point of contact between JJS and our contract growers on all major issues including: flock settlements, feed reporting, communicating problems in the field to proper JJS personnel etc.  This is a hands on, fast-paced position that requires a responsive leader with a BS in poultry or animal science and at least two years’ experience in a related position.  Non- degreed candidates with at least 5 years of poultry industry skills will also be considered.

CDL Class A Driver OTR & Local Job

CDL A runs both local work (home daily), and OTR work to West coast and Florida. If you are tired of always doing the same thing every day, we rotate our drivers every few weeks, so they can have the best of both worlds and be home every few weeks running local day cab deliveries then, out for two weeks with a west coast load in Brand New Equipment.

  •  As a CDL A driver you can earn between $60,000 and $85,000 a year, plus sign on bonus opportunity.

Packing Supervisor

The packing supervisors is accountable for the daily processing schedule and its completion. This position is also responsible to see that all the direct reports follow the GMP’s and Safety procedures; assists with USDA inspector requests. Administers employee performance reviews, attendance, cross training, and department paperwork and reporting.

We are looking for someone with a High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least three (3) years of packaging leadership experience, preferably in poultry, meat or the food industry. Experience with Reiser Machines, Aspen Scale Systems, Clipping Machines, Shrink Tunnels, Strapping Machines and Computers, is a plus. This is a hands on, fast paced team environment, leadership position. This is a day shift job, the end of the day is variable, we work until the line is finished, and there is some weekend work.

Animal Welfare Supervisor

Responsible for supporting and verifying that anyone coming into contact with our ducks are handled, cared for, and maintained according to the JJS Management Manuals, JJS Animal Welfare Policy, third-party welfare standards and USDA animal welfare regulations.

This person will assist in modifying and updating animal welfare policies, ensure continuous improvement and monitor the effectiveness of current policies and standards. Guide and give animal welfare training. Work professionally with auditors. Propose projects and maintain the approved budget. Among other duties as assigned fill in as Flock Supervisor as needed.


Requires a Bachelor of Science degree, PACCO certification is preferred or two years related experience. Above average organizational, detail oriented, accuracy, interpersonal and computer skills. Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
