TEAM MEMBERS

$14/Hour starting rate!

Team Members are the face of Rutter’s, providing world class customer service, convenient high-quality food and beverages, and the latest technology to provide convenience at the speed of life. Team Members perform a variety of tasks related to different areas of the store including food preparation, running a cash register, customer service and general housekeeping.

Responsibilities

  • Attend to customers in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.

  • Demonstrate team-oriented approach.

  • Performs duties at multiple workstations; register, restaurant area, fuel pumps and sales floor.

  • Stock and maintain inventory throughout the store.

  • General housekeeping; dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, etc.

Skills

  • Entry level position, no experience necessary

ASSISTANT STORE MANAGERS

Up to $18/Hour starting rate!

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for effectively managing the operation of a convenience store. Assures that all aspects of the business operate smoothly in the Store Manager’s absence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance and support to the Store Manager with inventory, ordering, and tracking merchandise sales.Verifies, reports, and deposits all moneys due company for goods sold.

  • Assure all company equipment and facilities are in good working order.

  • Identify and resolve inventory control problems.

  • Display and rotate merchandise as recommended by the marketing staff.

  • Train employees in food preparation, sanitation rules and regulations. Make sure rules are followed by self and others.

  • Share responsibility for shift coverage for call-offs when no other help can be found.

  • Maintain store and premises in a clean, healthful, attractive condition, and according to all company policies and applicable codes.

  • Recommend team members for disciplinary action, job training, or promotion in manager’s absence.

  • Provide job training and oversee productivity for all team members.

  • Report and resolve all maintenance issues that occur during the shift.

  • Communicate in a timely and effective way, all problems and issues to Store Manager.

  • Ensure self and all employees provide professional, courteous, and timely service to all customers.

  • Demonstrate high standards and work ethics to others through words and actions.

  • Identify opportunities to improve service and productivity, reduce costs, and increase sales and make recommendations to the appropriate personnel.

  • Complete daily store errands including but not limited to, banking and competitive gas pricing.

  • Make gas price changes.

  • Acts as Person in Charge (PIC) in Manager’s absence.

ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER

Up to $18/Hour starting rate!

The Assistant Restaurant Manager reports to the Store Manager and ensures that processes and procedures are followed to meet Rutter’s expectations and goals. Organizes, schedules, and controls the preparation of food; including ordering, scheduling, selling, and tracking all food and food related items and is responsible for controlling cost and managing spoilage.

Responsibilities

  • Set inventory levels for all items and order appropriately, following company guidelines.

  • Ensure proper receiving, storage and rotation of all goods received following company guidelines.

  • Schedule employees based on peak demand times.

  • Interview applicants and make recommendations for hire.

  • Train employees in food preparation, sanitation rules and regulations.

  • Provide shift coverage for call-offs when no other help can be found.

  • Ensure that company recipes and quantities are adhered to using “Price book” guidelines.

  • Ensure that all company food safety guidelines, rules and procedures are followed by self and employees.

  • Identify and resolve inventory control problems.

  • Schedule hours of work for self and employees to optimize operation and control labor costs across all shifts.

  • Complete and submit all forms and spreadsheets necessary to complete profit and loss statements in an accurate and timely way.

  • Complete, submit, and distribute forms related to all personnel issues as requested.

  • Identify opportunities to improve service and productivity, reduce costs, and increase sales and make recommendations to the appropriate personnel.

  • Use a team-based approach to solving problems and resolving personnel issues.

  • Demonstrate high standards and work ethics to others through words and actions.

  • Maintain clean, neat and orderly work area appearance at all times.

  • Develop co-workers for promotion as skills and aptitudes are identified and developed.

  • Complete daily store errands including but not limited to picking up grocery items.

  • Acts as Person in Charge (PIC) in Manager’s absence.
